If you’d like to request a refund for your Avast consumer subscription, please follow these steps:
Go to the Avast Support page
Open your browser and visit: https://support.avast.com/avast/en/gb/home/current/contactChoose the relevant product area
Select Consumer (home) support.
Pick the product that matches what you purchased (for example, Avast Premium Security, Avast SecureLine VPN, etc.).
Select the topic related to billing or refunds
Choose the option closest to Order / Billing / Refund.
If prompted, confirm that you want help with a refund request.
Click the “Get Support” button
After you select the options above, a blue “Get Support” button will appear.
Click this button to proceed to the contact form.
Fill in the contact form
Enter your name and email address (use the same email you used when purchasing, if possible).
Provide any order details you have (for example: Order ID, product name, purchase date, and the amount charged).
In the message box, briefly explain that you are requesting a refund, and include any relevant information (for example, unwanted renewal, incorrect charge, or no longer needed).
Submit your request
Review all information to make sure it’s correct.
Click Submit (or the equivalent button on the form).
Check your email for confirmation
Avast’s support team will send a confirmation email once your request has been submitted.
They may ask for additional details if needed.
Refunds, once approved, usually take a few business days to appear on your bank or card statement (timing can vary by bank).
If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few hours, please also check your spam/junk folder.
