Activating AVG Internet Security for Windows

Applies to:

• AVG Internet Security (Unlimited devices), which includes AVG Internet Security for Windows and is activated with AVG MyAccount.
• AVG Internet Security (1-10 PCs), which is activated with a license number.

Before following the activation steps in this article:

• Ensure either AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE is installed on your PC. For installation steps please read the article :
  • Installing AVG Internet Security

• Activate with AVG MyAccount (unlimited devices)

  • Click Log in.
     
  • Log in with your AVG MyAccount email and password, then click Log in.
      
    • Enter the email that you used during your purchase.
    • Enter AVG MyAccount password. Forgot or don’t have a password? Click Forgot password? link to retrieve or create it.
• After activation, the entered AVG MyAccount email is displayed on the My Subscription page. Information about your subscription such as the expiry date is also visible.
  

  Activate with a license number (1-10 PCs)

  • Click Enter license.
    
  • Enter your license to activate your product, then click Enter license.  
    • You can copy and paste your license number, or enter it manually.

• After activation, the entered license number is displayed on the My Subscriptionpage. Information about your subscription such as the expiry date is also visible.
