How to download, install, and activate AVG AntiVirus or Internet Security

Instructions

After purchasing AVG Antivirus or AVG Internet Security, you receive an email with a link to download your AVG product. Use the instructions below to download and install your AVG product.

1. Open the email sent to you after your AVG purchase.
2. Click the download link provided in the purchase confirmation email (also listed below):
   • AVG AntiVirus
   • AVG Internet Security
3. Right-click the downloaded setup file and select Run as administrator from the context menu.
4. In the User Account Control dialog, click Yes to allow AVG to make changes to your PC.
   
5. Click Continue on the AVG welcome screen.
    
6. Enter the license number sent to you in the purchase confirmation email, then click Activate.
    
7. Click Restart Now to complete the installation process.
   

Your AVG product is now installed and activated.
